Why HydeCo

A small company doing serious work.

We are a family-owned contractor that has been building across Utah since 1996 — residential communities, custom homes, multifamily, and commercial. Big enough that the work is interesting, small enough that what you do matters to the outcome.

We look for people who take ownership of their work, solve problems instead of escalating them, and want to get better at the trade. If that sounds like you, we would like to hear from you whether or not there is a posting up.

You will not be a number

The company is small enough that the founder knows your name and what you are good at. Your work is visible, which cuts both ways — and that is the point.

Real variety

In one year you might touch a custom home, a townhome community, and a commercial remodel. You learn faster here than somewhere that only builds one thing.

Ownership, actually

We hire people who can be handed a problem and trusted to solve it. If you want to be told exactly what to do all day, this is not the right fit — and that is fine.

Room to grow

Brantson started with the company and now runs construction. We would rather grow someone into a role than hire around them.
