About HydeCo
Three generations, one jobsite at a time.
Who we are
A family-owned Utah contractor, and that is not a marketing line.
Bart Hyde founded HydeCo in 1996 and has led it for thirty years. Today his sons run construction and operations. That structure is the whole reason the company works the way it does: the person who answers your call is the person accountable for your project, and there is nobody in between to pass a problem to.
The work has ranged from single custom homes to 70-unit communities, with remodels and commercial projects in between — built all across Utah. Building a community teaches you coordination; building a custom home teaches you that the last five percent of the finish work is what the owner actually lives with.
We take on the projects we can stand behind, and we put our name on every one of them.

Leadership
The three people responsible.
Not an org chart — the actual list. Between them they cover the estimate, the jobsite, and everything either side of it.

Barton P. Hyde
Founder & CEO
Bart founded HydeCo in 1996 and has run it for the thirty years since. His work spans custom homes, residential communities, multifamily, remodels, and commercial construction across Utah.
What he brings to a project is the kind of field knowledge that only comes from decades of it: seeing a problem on a set of plans before it becomes a problem on a jobsite, and knowing which subs will actually show up.

Brantson D. Hyde
Head of Construction
Brantson runs construction. More than ten years of experience have taken him across the full range of the company’s work — custom homes, multi-unit residential, and commercial improvements — in construction management, project management, and field coordination.
He is the one on site. When a schedule needs to hold or a detail needs to be right, that is his call to make.

Weston C. Hyde
Head of Business Operations
Weston leads business operations, bringing a background in consulting, strategy, and leadership. He holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and previously worked with the Stephen R. Covey Leadership Center.
At HydeCo he handles project planning, business development, client communication, and the systems that keep a growing company from outrunning itself.
How we work
Four things you can hold us to.
These four shape how every HydeCo project runs, from the first estimate to closeout — and you are welcome to hold us to them.
01
Clear, early communication
You will always know where your project stands. When something needs a decision, you hear about it while there is still time to make one — with options on the table, not a surprise that was already settled.
02
Commitments, not estimates
A budget and a schedule are promises about how we will run the job. We plan carefully up front and manage every phase so the work moves the way we said it would.
03
Direct access to the owners
There are no layers between you and the people responsible for your project. The family name is on the company, and the family is on the job.
04
The same standard at any scale
A 70-unit community and a single custom home are different problems, but not different standards. The discipline that lands one on schedule is the discipline that finishes the other properly.
What we build
Three lines of work.
Communities & Multifamily
Townhome and single-family communities, multifamily, and commercial work — delivered on a schedule you can underwrite against.
See the workCustom Homes
One-of-a-kind residences built around the site, the light, and the way you actually live. Every detail owner-approved before it is built.
See the workRemodels & Additions
Renovations, additions, and tenant improvements that respect what is already there — and get finished without living in a jobsite for a year.
See the workWhat clients say
In their words.
On time. Honest. Friendly. These are the things you look for in a contracting service, and with HydeCo, that’s what you’re going to get.

Come talk to the people who will build it.
No sales team, no handoff. Tell us what you are planning and you will be talking to the person who runs the job.
